Congratulations to Cherrydale's Battle of the Books Team for Becoming the 2008-2009 Greenville County School 1st Place Winner!
The 4th/5th grade team (Alyssa, Cailtin, Nancy, Chris, Brandon and Anna) was victorious in our school Battle of the Books competition and represented us at the Greenville County School District Battle of the Books. Seventeen teams participated in the competition held at Greenville High School on April 16, 2009. The Cherrydale team, coached by Mrs. Carolyn Page and Ms. Anne Alewine, won the title in the fourth and final round by a score of 35 to 30.
