Guidance

Cherrydale Elementary has a school counselor available to address concerns of students, teachers, or parents. The counselor works to facilitate each student’s success by supporting and consulting with teachers and the principal, by collaborating and communicating with parents and families, by providing appropriate individual and group counseling, by providing classroom guidance, and by making appropriate contact and referrals to community service agencies. The counselor also works with the administration and teachers to plan and implement the standardized testing program.
