The 4K Kindergarten class learned many lessons while carving their pumpkins. They worked in small groups to carve two class jack-o-lanters. They talked about their five senses as they shared how the pumpkin smelled and felt. They learned a new word - "slimy" - when they felt the inside of the pumpkin and pulled out the seeds. They also talked about shapes as they decided what shape to make the eyes and nose of their pumpkin. They were very proud of their final product!
