Nandi is a fourth grader in Mrs. Wham's class. She is nine years old and likes to eat cheese pizza. Nandi has a baby brother, Franklin, who is two years old. When Nandi grows up, she would like to be a teacher because she likes playing with kids.

Memoir: Our Big Trip

Me and my family went on vacation to Texas. Which includes me, my dad, my little brother, and my mom. We woke up at 5:00 AM to get to Texas. We drove to Charlotte to catch our plane to Dallas Texas. As we got on the plane, I started to feel nervous. As we sat on the plane awhile, I started not to feel so nervous. The plane ride lasted two hours. Then the plane landed. The next day we went to my great aunt's house. The next day later in the evening, we went to a rodeo. At the rodeo, they had face painting and you could even eat dinner there. I had so much fun there. Even my grandma came. Sunday we had a cookout at the park. After the cookout was over we went to the water park. It was fun that weekend but not that fun because we had to go back home the next day. Monday we said our goodbyes and went back home.
