Dear Governor Mark Sanford,

My name is Kendall and I would like to tell you why we need to protect the envoronment. We need clean food, clean oxygen, and clean water.

We need to protect the food so we can eat it and get energy from it. If we protect the food, we won't get sick. You won't survive without clean food.

We need clean oxygen. Every living thing needs oxygen to survive. Plants and tres help produce clean oxygen.

We need to protect the water because water makes up most of our body. That's why we need clean water. Also, if we have clean water to wash our hands, we won't spread germs.

I hope this tells you why we need to protect our environment. It is a very important thing to do.

Kendall
