CHS Students Meet Famed Author L.Divine

- L. Divine, the author of the popular Drama High series spoke at Stonecrest Public Library in Lithonia, GA on Saturday, October 1, 2011.
- There were only 3 students from Atlanta present. There were twice as many of us present!
- Ms. Cote, my student teacher from Furman University, accompanied us on the trip
- L. Divine shared how much of her personal life inspired the characters and events of her books.
- L. Divine's message to the girls: You cannot control the choices, good or bad, that people around you make. You can only control how you respond to it. Write your own story and make it a good one!
- After we met/spoke with L.Divine we stopped at Clemson on the way home and toured the campus!
