We meet each Tuesday from 3:15-4:00 in Mrs. Joyce Dodd's room 204.

MathCounts is a national math enrichment and competition program that promotes middle school mathematics achievement. Students work weekly on math skills, problem solving, and translating classroom activites to real-world applications. In early January, members will take a test to determine who will compete at the regional competition held at Clemson University. A regional champion can then participate in state and even the ESPN televised national championships. Visit the national MathCounts website to learn more about this organization.

Requirements for Membership

1. Have a passing grade in ALL classes or grade level counselors approval.
2. Have transportation immediately following meeting times (5:00pm)
3. Have a willingness to cooperate, share, and learn.
4. Have no disciplinary problems involving disrespect, distrupting school, or fighting.
