Blue Ridge High School is pleased to announce 3 current 12th graders who have earned AP Scholar Awards in recognition of their exceptional achievement on AP exams from the spring of the 2009-2010 school year. These students were enrolled in Advanced Placement Courses giving them the opportunity to take rigorous college-level courses while still in high school and earn college credit for successful performance on the AP exams given in the spring of each school year. About 18 % of the more than 1.8 million students worldwide who took AP Exams performed at a sufficiently high level to also earn an AP Scholar Award.
The 3 students qualified for the AP Scholar Award by completing three or more AP Exams with scores of 3 of higher. The AP Scholars are Taylor Burgess, Greg Drew, and Taylor Kuhlman. Congratulations to these students!
