Congratulations to your baseball Tigers who picked up their 19th W of season 9-4 over Westside & finished the regular season winning 16 of their last 17 games! Mason Tompkins pitched 4 1/3 SHUTOUT innings. Murray & Brandt closed!  Cade Norton was 3 for 3 with a double, home run & 3 RBI. Tompkins BLASTED a 3-RUN Home Run. AJ Cammarota had 2 Hits!


Congratulations to track and field as they continue to make some noise this season! At the District meet last night our girls brought home a second place finish and guys brought home third place. Great job!


Good luck to men’s golf as they take on Broome and Chapman at home today.

Early College Summer Classes

Current Early College students planning to take Early College classes this summer, please request your classes in Student Advising then email Ms. Fevrin to register you for your course(s). We need to order your textbooks for summer classes this week. This will avoid a delay in getting your books for your summer courses.

Summer School Applications Due Friday 4/26/24

Attention Students!

If you received a summer school application, and need transportation, competed applications are due back to the Counseling Office by this Friday, April 26th. This will ensure you will have transportation to and from school in the summer. If you turn your application in after this deadline, you will not be guaranteed transportation.

Final Online Senior Survey

Attention Seniors!!!

It’s time to complete your Final Online Senior Survey. This information is needed for district, state and federal reports that must be completed about the Class of 2024.

Log into Backpack. Go to EDUCATION APPS; select the SCHOOLINKS icon. Go to the TO DO LIST tab. Then click 'Senior Year End Activity' (Personal information, Final transcript, graduation attendance, scholarship summary), 'FAFSA Completion' (if not going to college, select 'won’t file') and 'Set up Personal Account for Alumni Access.' Answer the questions in all three sections honestly.

Corps of Cadets Color Guard Auditions

The Corps of Cadets Color Guard will be hosting auditions next week for the fall 2024 season! Color Guard is open to any 6-12th grader and no experience is required. Auditions will be Monday 4/29, Tuesday 4/30, and Thursday 5/2 from 4-6pm. Come out to auditions and bring a friend!

Summer Class Sign Ups

Students wishing to sign up for summer classes whether to recover credits or to get ahead, there are several options. Please start by signing up using our 2024 BRHS Summer School Digital Application (https://forms.gle/iKvVx2PeoDyZBMzj8) which has the options available with the details needed for each. Keep in mind there are additional actions required each program as well as deadlines.

For Recovering credits, you should sign up for VirtualSC Credit Recovery or Edgenuity.
For getting ahead, you can sign up for VirtualSC Initial Credit, Edgenuity or GCVSP.

VirtualSC Initial Credit Sign-ups begin May 20th - June 3 for 11th & 12th grade
Sign ups begin May 27 - June 3 for All grade levels;
Classes begin June 5th

VirtualSC CR sign-ups begin May 20th – June 7th.
Classes begin the following Monday after sign ups

Edgenuity see your counselor to sign up as well as the digital application
Classes begin May 23rd

GCVSP Registration is from April 1 – May 1;
Classes begin June 3
There is a fee of $125. All payment must be submitted by May 30, 2024. See your counselor for details.

Rising Juniors - Youth Leadership Greenville (YLG)

Attention rising Juniors (Current Sophomores)

The Youth Leadership Greenville (YLG) program through Greenville County Schools develops youth to serve in leadership capacities to benefit our community. This program is designed to identify potential leaders and challenge them to become engaged citizens by engaging in topics such as the history of the greater Greenville area, etiquette skills, Greenville’s rich culture, the criminal justice system, and leadership development. The cost to participants is $125 payable upon acceptance into the program. YLG sessions will be held during the school day and sometimes outside of school hours. Students will be excused from classes to attend YLG sessions, but are responsible for making up assignments and exams. Families/students are required to provide transportation to and from the Greenville County School District Office or nearby locations for each of the sessions that comprise YLG. Most sessions will be held on the second Tuesday of each month, but the actual session dates to be determined. See Ms. Fevrin in guidance for additional information and to apply. Application deadline is May 3rd.

Jr. Leadership Greer

Attention Rising Sophomores & Juniors!

Jr. Leadership Greer is now accepting applications for rising Sophomores & Juniors (current freshmen & sophomores). Jr. Leadership Greer program offers the opportunity to participate in a LEADERSHIP experience. JR. Leadership Greer will stimulate students' awareness of needs within the Greater Greer Community; Develop a spirit of cooperation among students; Create a sense of understanding between students and community leaders; and Identify opportunities for community involvement. Tuition for Jr. Leadership Greer is $150 per participant. Sessions will be held during the school day and sometimes outside of school hours. Students will be excused from school to attend Jr. Leadership sessions, but are responsible for making up assignments and exams. Families/students are required to provide transportation to and from the Greer Chamber of Commerce in downtown Greer for each session. See Ms. Fevrin in guidance for additional information and to apply. Application deadline is May 5th.

Merit America Program

Attention Seniors!
Are you undecided about your plans for after high school or plan to take a gap year? Then you may be interested in Merit America, which offers tailored career paths for students who may be uncertain about their plans after high school or simply want to enhance their skills. Merit America is a program designed to equip individuals with in-demand skills and the opportunity to earn Google certification in one of the following six career paths:
IT Support, UX Design, Data Analytics, Java Development, Cybersecurity, or Project Management. See attached Ms. Fevrin for additional information.

BRHS Prom Closet

Are you in need of formalwear for an upcoming event (like military ball, prom, a pageant, etc.)? Do you have formal attire or accessories you need to get rid of? The BRHS prom closet is open! We have dresses of all colors, sizes, and styles, and we are always accepting more donations! Contact Ms. Mlay for more information.

Tigerville Senior Walk

All Tigerville alumni graduating seniors mark you calendars! We want to honor our graduating seniors with a clap out on Thursday, May 16, 2024. Bring your cap and gowns and gather in the media center starting at 12:45 pm. You will need to bring your ID and check in through the office. The clap out will begin at 1 pm. If you plan to attend, please complete the RSVP form by Friday, May 3, 2024. | 2024 Senior Clap Out RSVP
