Voice Thread

VoiceThread is a collaborative, interactive multimedia slide show that holds images, documents, and videos and allows people to leave comments in 5 ways:

1. computer microphone

2. telephone

3. audio file (MP3/WAV

4. text

5. webcam

With VoiceThread, group conversations are collected and shared in one place from anywhere in the world.   All with no software to install.
To add a comment to our BRHS Book Discussion VoiceThread, you much first have an account.

Creating an "Identity" on VoiceThread so you can comment

1. Go to the BRHS VoiceThread   http://voicethread.com/
2. Click on Browse Tab
3. On new screen type in Blue Ridge High School”
4. Our Voicethread will come up with a red paw
5. Click on Paw.  This opens our VoiceThread”
6. On the bottom, left hand side you will see a small red paw.  Click on the paw to open a new window.
7. This will allow you to create a new identity for yourself. 
8. You can enter a name (stay away from last names) and upload a digital photo or image to represent you or no image and one will be created for you. 
9. You now have an identity and  can make comments.
