Requirements

High School Diploma Requirements

4 Units English - Required in grades 9, 10, 11, & 12
4 Units Math - Algebra 1 & 2 and Geometry if college bound
3 Units Social Studies - Government, Economics, U.S. History, & 1 additional unit
3 Units Science - 3 Lab Sciences if college bound
1 Unit Physical Education
1 Unit Computer Science
1 *Unit Foreign Language or 1 Unit Occupational Education (*2 units of the same Foreign Language if college bound)
7 Units of Elective Credit

In order to be awarded a diploma, students must earn 24 total units or credits
be keyboarding proficient, and pass all portions of the HSAP exit exam.

Promotion Requirements
To be promoted to the 10th grade, students must have earned a total of five units including English I and one unit of math. 
To be promoted to the 11th grade, students must have earned a total of 11 units including English I & English II, two units of math, and one unit of science. 
To be promoted to the 12th grade, students must have earned 17 units including English I, II, & III, three units of math, two units of science, and nine other units.
