ASVAB Testing
The ASVAB will be administered in the Media center from 8:45am-12:00pm on April 16th.
The Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) is a multiple-aptitude battery that measures developed abilities and helps predict future academic and occupational success. Your score is one of the College and Career Readiness Indicators and could determine if you will be required to have a full schedule your senior year! Students who achieve their CCR will also receive a cord to wear at graduation!
You can receive your CCR if you score a 31 or above on this test. This will allow you to have open blocks as a senior.
Please bring your Chromebook and a charger to the test.

Huge congrats to our golf team! The Tigers shot an INCREDIBLE even par 144 to beat Wade Hampton 144 to 175. Owen Kinnunen and Ryder Seppala both shot -1 followed by Benjamin Brown at E and Cody Nicastro at +2.
Today in the world of athletics:
Men’s golf travels to Broome, girls and guys soccer are home against Carolina, softball is home against Carolina, and baseball travels to Broome.

Seniors: Nominate Prom Queen & King
Seniors: Please check your email for a form to nominate for Prom Queen and King. The form will be available from March 25th until March 28.
"Dancing Through the Decades" BRHS 2024 Prom
The Blue Ridge High School Junior Senior Prom will be held at the Hilton located at 45 West Orchard Park Drive, Greenville, SC 29615 on Saturday, May 4, 2024 from 7:00 – 11:00 PM. Tickets will go on sale April 1st – 15th; Ms. Treffinger will be selling prom tickets in the Media Center during these specified days. In order to purchase a prom ticket, students must first complete their Prom Permission Form; Prom Permission Forms are available now, and students may collect a Prom Permission Form from the Student Information Center across from Mrs. Thornton’s office or from Mrs. Treffinger in the Media Center. Students will receive their tickets when they submit their completed Prom Permission Form along with their payment. Prom Tickets are $40 per person and are non-transferrable.
Military Recognition for Seniors
The South Carolina Department of Education is pleased to recognize high school seniors who will be entering the military or attending a military service academy with a red, white, and blue honor cord to be worn during graduation ceremonies & students are invited to attend a statewide recognition ceremony where state, education, and military leaders will publicly recognize them for their commitment.

Graduation Supply Orders & Junior Ring Orders
It’s that time of year!!!! Graduation Supplies will be here on Thursday, April 11th!! Representatives of the Herff Jones Company will be in the Media Center on Thursday, April 11th during all lunch shifts starting at 11:45 am until 2:05 pm for students to pick up graduation supplies. Final payments can be made by money order, cash, credit card. Any junior who has not ordered their class ring may do so at this time also. Extra Ring and Graduation packets are available in the front office and counseling office. Thank you!
Late Orders: Seniors who have not purchased graduation supplies, Time is running out!!! Visit https://highschool.herffjones.com to place your order. Or visit Herff Jones at 3110 Wade Hampton Blvd, Taylors, SC (Near Texas Roadhouse). Call to check hours before going. Supplies ordered now will be shipped directly to your home. Orders placed at school will be available for pick-up on April 11th during all lunch shifts in the Media Center.
HBCU Admission Fair
Announcing the 58th Annual Upstate King Legacy Historically Black College and University (HBCU) Admission Fair* at Fluor Field, home of the Greenville Drive, on Saturday, April 13 from 2 to 5 pm.

The baseball game is a special event because it's "Jackie Robinson Day" and the Drive will be playing that night suited up as the Greenville Black Spinners which played here as long ago as 1921

Tigerville Senior Walk
All Tigerville alumni graduating seniors mark you calendars! We want to honor our graduating seniors with a clap out on Thursday, May 16, 2024. Bring your cap and gowns and gather in the media center starting at 12:45 pm. You will need to bring your ID and check in through the office. The clap out will begin at 1 pm.
