This course is an in-depth study of landscape design techniques and the plant materials that are used in the landscapes of today. Students will draw landscape designs using the knowledge learned of plant materials and install the plants into a landscape setting. Employment opportunities are available in plant nurseries, landscape design and installation businesses, landscape architecture and related landscape businesses.
