Cosmetology

Cosmetology is a 2 year course that begins the junior year.  The cost for students is approximately $300.00 for the kit which they use during the 2 years.  The class size is limited to 20 by the State Board of Cosmetology.  Second year students take the state board in the spring of their senior year.  Students must have 500 hours in the lab and classroom each year for a total of 1000 hours over the two year period.   This state board requirement does not allow for many absences.
