Media Center

The Blythe Academy Media Center is the hub of exciting activities at our school.  Primary objectives are to help students learn by providing books and other media to correlate with the curriculum guides, to teach students how to use the media center, and to create in students a lasting interest in using the library for study and enjoyment.  Our media center houses many teaching materials such as computers, books, magazines, pamphlets, pictures, filmstrips, recordings, and other audio-visual aids.  It is also an extension of the classroom in that the librarian is there to work with students and teachers reinforcing skills and enriching studies that are being taught in the classroom.  The Media Center is open on a flexible schedule from 7:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
