Symbolism of Dragons

Second grade artists learned about the symbolism of dragons in Asian culture, specially the role the dragon plays in Chinese New Year celebrations.  Second graders compared and contrasted images of Asian dragons with European dragons and then created their own dragon using line and pattern.
