Students around the district submitted their artwork
for the
2011-2012 Safety and Prevention Calendar! The goal was
to raise awareness of unintentional injuries in South Carolina.
The
artwork submitted acts as a reminder for students and
parents of simple and important ways to prevent unintentional injuries.
This calendar goes to every elementary and private school across the
state. We are very proud to announce that one of our very
own Lydia Hill won a month in the calendar
for the 2011-2012 school year. Lydia is a fifth grade student here and
we look forward to seeing her work displayed in the Kid Safe calendar
next year!
