On Monday, November 21st,
Taylors Firefighters took time out of their busy schedule to visit
Brook Glenn Elementary. The students were very excited and loved
having firefighters read to them. After the firefighters completed
reading to the group, students got an opportunity to ask questions,
and watch firefighters gear up in their firefighting suit an added
bonus was watching the teachers dressed as firefighters.
The Firefighters instructed
students about the importance of a fire safety plans, making sure
they have a meeting place in case of a fire and most importantly, if
they themselves were to get caught on fire to remember to STOP,
DROP, ROLL and COVER THEIR FACES.
The Firefighters brought their Fire
Truck and showed the Kindergarten students all the amazing functions
it provides when fighting fires. The students were thrilled by all
that our Firefighters do every day! Thank you Taylors Fire
Department, we are so grateful to you and all they do for our
community.
