| Chorus |
Cardinal Chorus is a 4th and 5th grade group with about 85
members. Students audition for places in Chorus. Third graders will
audition in May for the next year's 4th grade Chorus spots. Students
who are in Chorus as 4th graders do not need to try out again for
5th grade. Students new to Bethel are given an opportunity to
audition.
Chorus rehearsals
on are Thursday mornings in the Music Room [502] at 7:15 A.M.
Each member is required to purchase a red Cardinal Chorus shirt
which they wear with black pants and black shoes/socks to all
performances. Concerts include a holiday performance in December and a spring concert in May.

| Clubs |
Students in 3rd-5th grade participate in a club of their choice the
third Wednesday of each month. |
| Battle of the Books |
Ten books are chosen each year for the Battle of the Books. Students
read the books September through December. In January students
paratactic answering questions about these books in teams. In
March their is a play off and the winning team will compete in the
district Battle of the Books competition help in April. Students in 4th and 5th grade can participate in this program.

| Good News Club |
The Good News Club
is an after-school Bible club that meets on Tuesday’s throughout the
school year and is currently for 3rd-5th graders. At the Good News Club children sing songs, memorize God’s
Word, hear life changing Bible lessons, and play review games to
reinforce the truths of each lesson. Children who attend must have
a parental permission form.

Safety Patrol |
The safety patrols at
Bethel are chosen each spring from among the fourth grade classes.
They are chosen based on their grades, self-discipline, and
demonstration of responsibility. The morning squad is sponsored by
Ms. Goodman and the afternoon squad is sponsored by Mrs. Kleinfelter.

| Jr. Beta Club |
Jr. Beta Club is a club that recognizes 5th grade students with high academic achievement and good character. Junior Beta promotes service back to the community. We meet once a month to carry out community service projects and fundraisers that support chosen causes. Our members are responsible for completing 10 hours of community service outside of the school day. |
Student Council |
Representatives
and alternates will attend their first meeting in October. Meetings
are the third Tuesday of the month. We meet from 2:30-3:30 in Mrs.
Harmon's room. |
