March 2012

Dear Parents,

In the month of March we will kick off the beginning of PASS testing for our Fifth Grade students. If you are a Third, Fourth, or Fifth Grade parent, you may be wondering what you can do to help your child be prepared for and do his/her best on the PASS test. 1. Encourage your child to do his/her best 2. Provide a quiet place for studying at home 3. Make sure your child is on time and regularly attends school 4. Meet with teachers and ask for activities that you and your child can do at home to prepare for the tests 5. Emphasize the important habits of rest, exercise, and eating well 6. Make sure your child gets adequate sleep and a nutritious meal before testing

Sincerely,

Tom Miller, Principal
