Bell's Crossing Administration
From the desk of the Principal……….. Dear Bell’s Crossing Family,
The first quarter officially ended on October 20th. I have three items that are of utmost importance for you this month.
(1) The Parent Portal launched the morning of October 27th. By now you have received a letter from the school with directions for accessing your child’s information online. You will now be able to track your child’s grades, attendance, discipline and much more. Directions will be on the parent portal for you to download. Please contact our school office at 355-3800 for answers to your questions.
Parents must come to the school in person to get their access id and passcode. These are extremely sensitive and anyone could use them to create an account to view a child’s performance. We are NEVER to provide these id’s/passwords over the phone, email or through mail. Parents MUST come to the school to get this information and show an ID to our office staff to confirm that you are the legal parent/guardian. Thank you in advance for your cooperation in this matter. This will be accessed from the school district web site: www.greenville.k12.sc.us. Select the parent menu to use this option.
(2) Online payment of lunches will now begin. This will also be accessed from the school district web site: www.greenville.k12.sc.us The report card format has been modified to include the Student’s Identification number which should make it easier for parents to locate this number when setting up their online meal payment account. Select the parent menu to use this option.
(3) This year related arts grades: PE, Art and Music, will be graded as any other subject and will be calculated into the report card that will be used to determine honor roll/ All A eligibility as well as magnet school criteria. This begins with second quarter grades. Please see the web sites of our related arts teachers for grading guidelines developed by the school district.
