  Mr. Charles Strickland,
6th Grade Administrator
    This is Mr. Strickland's eighth year at Beck Academy, but he is no stranger to the field of education. Mr. Strickland, a recipient of several educational awards, has 11 years of middle school experience in the state of North Carolina. He served one year at League Academy as a science teacher and one year as vice-principal. Prior to joining the Administrative Team at Beck Academy, Mr. Strickland served as vice-principal at Eastside High School for seven years. He became an educator after working many years in the recording industry.


   As an educator, Mr. Strickland strongly believes that a sound education is the difference between living and existing. He believes in building character by encouraging students to take responsibility for their choices and actions and building confidence by motivating students to do their personal best. He encourages students to reflect upon the meaning of civic and personal values and the application of those in their daily lives. He enjoys building community by inspiring all people to contribute to the world around them while honoring the diversity that makes our country great.
