Students from Beck Academy's 7th grade spent the weekend at the Great Smoky Mountains institute in Tremont, TN. During the weekend students took part in activities that encouraged team work and a greater understanding of our environment. We took part in a geology hike to the falls, stream ecology and identifying different species of organisms found in the forest. Everyone had a great time and we learned a lot.
