On May 13, 2008 the Woodruff Road Exchange Club of Greenville presented Beck Academy with a Freedom Shrine for the main hallway outside the library.

The Freedom Shrine is a collection of 30 original historic American documents, photographically reproduced and attractively displayed in thousands of locations throughout the United States. Developed by the National Exchange Club, the Freedom Shrine originated from the Freedom Train that toured the nation in 1947 carrying an exhibit of historic documents.

During the presentation ceremony the 6th grade enjoyed the Presentation of Flags by the JL Mann High School Color Guard, the National Anthem was sung by Mr. Yon and God Bless America sung by Rachel Masotti.
