In Mrs. Luz Torres’ seventh grade Spanish classes her students have been practicing their conversation skills for use in restaurants. The students had to ask for the menu, expressed their likes and dislikes for different foods and drinks, asked for the check and had to pay for the meal. All parts of the conversations were in Spanish. The students did a great job and demonstrated very good pronunciation.

Mrs. Torres’ sixth graders prepared simple recipes like hot dogs, hamburgers, salads and sandwiches. They created outlines for performing their recipes that included elements such as an introduction, ingredients and steps to perform the real recipe. Again, all students performed very well using their Language B. Mrs. Torres’ is proud of all of her students’ accomplishments.
