CATCH which stands for Coordinated Approach To Child Health. A coordinated school health is a process which brings a school community together to teach children to be healthy for a lifetime. CATCH is the resource that is going to be used to coordinate this process. CATCH is broken down into 4 components, Child Nutrition which involves the school cafeteria, Physical Education which makes sure the students are involved in moderate to vigorous physical activity, Classroom where health and nutrition resources are available to supplement the already existing health curriculum and the Family component where there is take home material and hands on activities for families to interact and strike up dialog on healthful living. The Fitnessgram is a complete battery of health-related fitness items that are scored using criterion-referenced standards. These standards are age and gender specific and are established based on how fit children need to be for good health. Fifth graders are tested twice a year on five different tests. These tests are sent to the State Department and on to their middle school. 2nd-4th graders are working on the process of learning and practicing these exercises.

The First Tee Program is a National School Program. Its goal is to impact the lives of young people by providing learning facilities and educational programs that promote character development and life enhancing values through the game of golf. The focus of The First Tee National School Program is to establish a lifelong interest in golf by engaging young people in a structured golf curriculum that promotes personal character development within a physical education setting.
