In celebration of Black History Month, 107.3 JAMZ and COX Media Group of
Greenville recognizes individuals who have made a significant difference
& positive impact on their community. Nominations were
received during December and January. We are proud to announce that a
5th grade teacher, MISTER Damon Qualls, was nominated and selected as an
Upstate Black History Maker for 2012. MISTER Qualls will be honored with
the other 28 recipients at a luncheon to be held in March.

On December 13th, New Spring Church
revisited Alexander and presented tennis shoes to each student. Not only
did they purchased shoes for every student, but volunteers placed these
new shoes on each child. |

As if the day was not amazing enough, the church provided each staff
member
received a holiday card with a gift card to the Outback.
