Men Who Read is a program that is in place to encourage our young men to read. We invite men in Greenville and the surrounding areas to come and share with our young men the intricate part reading plays in their career. The men who are invited are asked to share a favorite book. Our young men are dressed to impress in their blue blazers, white shirts and ties. The event is held on the 4th Thursday of each month. Mr. Rick Heavner is responsible for the Men Who Read Program at Alexander Elementary . Our young men are also used as ambassadors when there are visitors in the building. This program involves our 4th and 5th grade young men.
