Faculty Profile

The new Alexander Elementary facility is a two-story instructional building. It has 19 regular classrooms, a computer lab, science lab, an art room, a music room, and a multipurpose room which provides indoor space for physical education classes. The cafetorium seats 200 for lunch.

There is one Pre-Kindergarten class, and kindergarten has three classrooms with a teacher conference/planning space, and a large fenced playground with a covered play area. Grades one and two have three classrooms. Grades three, four and five have three classrooms each as well. Each grade level has a teacher conference/planning room. Our music department also instructs our students in chorus. We also offer the strings program through Greenville Symphony Orchestra.

The wide entrance corridor was built to serve as an art gallery, a science display, a display for school awards, or a hall of fame for Teachers of the Year. The school is very functional and flexible.
