Roper Mountain Science Center to Host Lego EventRoper Mountain Science Center will welcome the area’s FIRST Lego League Robotics teams for their fall kick-off event featuring this year’s theme: Trash Trek.

On Saturday, September 12 Symmes Hall is home to all things Lego© with demonstrations, free build activities, programming workshops, coaching clinics, and featuring this year’s mission and mat.

A state referee will be on hand to answer team questions. In the auditorium and lower level, high school robotics teams will demonstrate their FIRST competition robots.

Admission is: $6 for ages 13-59, $5 for senior citizens 60 and over; $5 for children 5-12. FREE for children 4 and under or for members of the RMSC Association. Parking is free.

Greenville County Lego Robotics teams that sign up before September 4 will receive five free tickets.
