Branden Reeves of the Woodmont High School Chapter of Future Farmers of America took first place in the South Carolina FFA Piedmont Regional Prepared Public Speaking contest at Clemson University. Branden Reeves of the Woodmont High School Chapter of Future Farmers of America took first place in the South Carolina FFA Piedmont Regional Prepared Public Speaking contest at Clemson University.

The Prepared Public Speaking contest challenges students to prepare and present a six-to-eight minute speech on an agricultural topic of their choice. Reeves will represent the Piedmont Region in the State Finals this June at Clemson University. He was coached by his agricultural education instructor, Matt Rollins.
